Saw a bunch of stewards waddling as quick as they could into the bus park as we walked along village way……..couldn’t see anything interesting going on though.

My immediate thought after the match was they'll be a few Villa fans with cock sucking hand signs and a bit of jip.

As a kid I was an Aston Villa fan until they won the league and European Cup. I went off them then. I'm an un-glory hunter. I should have an affection for them but I find it hard to give a holte about them now. Nothing like supporting your local team.

I was worried that if Albion became too successful I might have to start supporting Crawley. This season has saved me.

Villa have plenty of gobby chavs following them, and it was funny seeing a bunch of their Stone Island boys realising they'd made a mistake today when they tried to steam through the train queue and found themselves confronted by some proper old-school Albion blokes who told them what to stick up their Holte End...

I think Crawley are to successful for you.
Try supporting Newhaven. :shootself:lolol:

No I don't actually find it funny. But tomorrow I'll be fine.
I support Whitehawk and Aldershot Town in the non-league. So I'm fine for weekly misery.

Let's just hope Sussex don't get too adept this year. Actually, let's. We deserve it.

Football is tribal, but mostly when you’re in the ground.

Had a great chat with a couple of Villa lads on the walk from Falmer Station to the ground. Very knowledgeable and all of us aware how we’re disrupting the big six.

Then called them wankers for 90 mins in the ground.

Would have bought them a pint afterwards (while grinning smugly).

That’s football, innit?

On the 90th minute the stewards all lined up in front of the west stand north end. Why, it was half empty at the time. More stopping a pitch invasion there than in front of the away end.

Not sure I've seen so many stewards lined up specificaly in the west on the north half. Only a couple in the south half, a handfull in front of the north stand and same again in the away end. As I say, seemed like they expected something.
Usually a line in front of WSL………
