Perhaps I’m the only one here not at all bothered by his next contract, after all they’re there to be broken.

Last summer the general consensus here, I think, was that we’d be lucky to keep RDZ as far as summer 2025. I feel that still. Anything longer a bonus.

Perhaps first, he needs to see what TB has planned for the summer transfer window?
I’ve got an inkling he has already seen the basis of this plan.

I can see us buying big in June and selling in August.

I can also see Mitoma staying now. That back injury has taken the heat out of his suspected departure.

A front 3 of Mitoma, Joao Pedro and March is good enough to get us into the top six. With Ferguson, Welbz, Adingra as back up plus perhaps 3 other including Osman, I think we’ll have a very strong squad indeed.

Nobody wants me anymore, I think I'll stay where I am.......Until maybe Utd call, or Bayern come back. But if they don't I'll stay. Great way to go into the summer and prep for next season.
Aren't all the players only staying because a big team doesn't want to sign them? But maybe you're right, I mean Dunk never recovered from that time he handed in a transfer request and refused to play. It was all over from then on

I was sitting outside The Pub at Fiveways this afternoon and both the 26 & 46 buses passed in Brighton and Hove Albion liveries. It’s a sign, I tell you, a sign! All will be good 👍

Turn around day tomorrow hopefully. Really looking forward to it. If I had a league table of teams to beat this season.
1 Palace
2 VILLA
3 Chelsea
4 Man U
Mini league starts tomorrow against the cynical time wasters. Redemption day for this game 2 seasons back. After all the foroms/Chat/press conferences/media etc this week. We need to finish this last 2 weeks on a high. Full confidence RDZ and the boys will be up for it.

You would rather beat Villa than Chelsea? Staggering. Villa are annoying but they don’t deserve that accolade.

I’m neither RDZ in or RDZ out. What I want to see is some nouse on the pitch from the players and manager we’ve got.

Of course he’s staying. Nobody wants him at the moment.

And he’s happy here because he is wanted here. At the moment.

Maybe RDZ has woken up to the reality that BHAFC really will stick by him. Great. Now start focusing a bit more on the teams we have to play and start coming up with some plans to beat them.

Barber is the CEO. Bloom isn't going to override him.

RDZ must know this so I'd be surprised if he thinks he being fobbed off and feels he is having to discuss everything with the 'organ grinder's monkey'.

Barber is CEO and deputy chair and is paid big money to take all the key decisions. In order to get the club where Bloom wants it to be. You don't buy a pedigree dog and bark.

I think people are reading far too much into RDZ's comments.

As usual.
Correct IMO....Then RDZ is making a mistake by his frequent pronouncements about needing to talk with Tony. He really needs PB onside.

Currently I would take beating these shitehousers with so much luck against us in the last few years over any other team in the PL

Fulham are also close to the top of the list but sadly we’ll have to wait until next season.
I don’t think I’ve seen us beat Villa COVID game apart, since 1981….
