[Albion] All the good ones are taken... or are they?

Totally agree. Looking back at the second half of the season. Observations of possible stubbornness other than tactics maybe. 1 Ferguson dropped, Wellbeck always in. 2 No one has convinced me Fati wasn't worth more than a 2 min sub off the bench. 3 Barco rumour that RDZ wanted to loan him out. 4...

[Albion] Who do you want to become our new manager?

Getting more concerned now what are squad are thinking about state of affairs. If they get a postal vote sent through. 1 GP/SC stability and consolidation? 2 Chaos manager with chosen consideration from TB/PB next step on from RDZ? What will they do ? I'm not worried, think we have a great...

    [Albion] Steve Cooper.

No reason to reject Cooper. But I reckon there will be a very short honeymoon period, and it could go bad very quickly, if we get off to a poor start. Could say that about anyone. But left field managers normally get more time.

[Albion] Who do you want to become our new manager?

Following on from my previous post. Raffaelle Palladino reported to be eyeing up a premiership move, currently learning English. Contract is up in June. Just won mang of month for April. Style ticks a lot of boxes. Probably a Juve or Roma move, but you never no.

[Albion] Who do you want to become our new manager?

Raffaelle Palladino (MONZA) philosophy does seem on first look, not to far from where we have had success in the last 2 seasons. And his style would not be alien to our current squad. A RDZ series 2, but a bit more pragmatic, and quicker. 1.4 goals , 0.9 concede.

This Palladino guy at MONZA looks interesting if you you tube him. Highly thought of, and his contract ends in June.

[Albion] If Graham Potter is re-appointed...

I for one will feel flat if GP returns. Comparing where we are at this moment, with that hot afternoon in Marseille, full of excitement, expectations, confidence, (Beer). Nothing personal with GP, but ì feel we will be starting the journey back at the start, rather than moving further forward...

    [Albion] The Potter in/out thread

Emotions aside with Potter. My worry is he would return to a different squad he left. So how long would his philosophy take to be adopted by the younger players used to RDZ pragmatism and chaos management. Potter is OK, but he imo, he is a "will take 18 months" manager.

[Albion] QPR away - who’s going?

I was at that game probably. Still the coldest I have ever been at a game. Minus 4 easily. Definitely going.

[Albion] The sad state of Brighton & Hove Albion FC

Quite possibly, I agree. But that does not automatically translate to 3 points a game, or breaking down low press bottom 6 sides, perfect team selection, etc. We all have a grip. Or we wouldn't be posting.

[Albion] Best moment of the season?

Ajax away. Fati & Adingra. That was my , this is going to be a great season moment. Sheffield Utd at home 3 days later. All in all, more highs than lows this season for me.

Luv to know who the players would chose in this merry go round. Dunky, call up a zoom call !

    [Albion] The Potter in/out thread

IMO We have a talented squad with lots of potential who need a manager who can motivate and develop them through a pragmatic style of play, not a theorist approach. I'm out.
