I've bought a new machine as she needs it now for her exam submissions and for ease of finishing coursework. The 10 days for the repair to happen was just shockingly badly timed. As it's new i guess i can't claim on insurance as it's not a repair for damage.
Liquid damage. I have a feeling that my daughters version of events may not be 100% truthful but fighting over that might not be a good use of anybody's time. She feels bad enough so i hope she learns from it.
I think her stuff was backed up to the cloud, so yes hopefully accessing work should...
Well she's given me all her passwords/apple id and I'm taking it into work with me in Bristol in the morning. I have an appointment in the afternoon at the Genius Bar ( eff. me, how pretentious? I thought she was joking when she told me). Fingers crossed.
No lights whatsoever. Her Apple device 'find my' shows that it went completely offline at 4.22pm when she had it with her (in her bag) in an after school Art help session.
Fortunately I have a sense of humour. My daughter on the other hand might rip your throat out for that. It's not fun here at the moment. Please let us beat Chelsea😄
