Potter being re-appointed would disappoint me in that I’m finding all this possession based football a bit boring but I’m telling myself the tactical grass is probably not greener on the other side.

Potter’s reign blurs in to the continued possession style of RDZ. I‘m looking at the run of results in the 22/23 season before he left, as a reminder. Impressive set of results but puzzling myself why the overriding memory is how useless his tactics were at Fulham‘s 2-1 defeat.

I’d imagine RDZ would be in his element developing a ‘cream of the crop‘ squad of players into his system rather than developing players per se. I hope he doesn’t go to Chelsea as that will be a European place filled.

I’m Horsham too. It needs a massive tactical voting and anti-Tory effort to oust Quin. I want Labour to govern but they should stand down here(but won’t) and I’d happily vote Lib Dem to get rid. Still highly likely to be a wasted vote (reform could split vote, of course) but so be it...

An uninjured A-team, suited to RDZ’s tactics, would have got us top 10 comfortably. Idealism kept pragmitism at bay in the 2nd half of the season.
