The boring answer is that you need both in equal measure.

I do think his star is waning, but that's only natural with the passage of time and also the relative success we've had in recent years (and therefore the quality of player we've had through the doors). Controversial as it is, I don't think I'd be picking him in an all-time Albion XI anymore...

Both have undoubtedly achieved some impressive things, but IMO the accolade of 'legend' is over-deployed.

Given the form of Ferguson especially, I reckon Undav would have a very good chance of getting game time next season. Depends really what RDZ regards JP's best position as being when everyone is fit.

I find it genuinely staggering that Marseille away could be your worst experience watching the Albion. - First ever European away game - Lovely weather - Late equaliser - Amazing stadium - Absolutely ridiculous atmosphere for the entire game.

Playing in Europe, without a doubt. I did all of the away games apart from Athens. Having witnessed the Albion play competitive fixtures at those grounds will never really sink in properly I don't think.
